Podcast Interview with James Massara
Today I had the opportunity to interview my boss, James Massara, who is the Associate Director of Digital Strategy here at Ohio Northern University. I will admit it is kind of a long interview, it went longer than five minutes but I felt like there weren't a whole lot of things I should have left out. For those who don’t know, I am employed by the Communications and Marketing department at the university as a multimedia assistant. That’s really just a fancy word for saying I make and edit some of their social media videos and posts that go up on all of their platforms. I used to do a whole lot more than what I’ve been doing this past semester, as we were allowed more hours in the past. This year I can only have 5 hours per week due to budget cuts so I am very limited to what I can accomplish. However, my boss was more than happy to help me with this project and I will post the link to the interview/podcast below, as well as the questions I asked!
How did you become head of social at ONU?
When were you certain that social media was something you wanted to do?
Is there any way you could further your career from here on?
If social media was not as prevalent as it is today, what would you be doing instead?
Has our social media marketing positively impacted ONU in any way?
