Labor Day Weekend Trip!
For Labor Day this past weekend, I went to Tennessee with my boyfriend Drew to visit his parents! We ended up not leaving until around midday on Saturday due to Drew having to work, but we still made it there with good time. Although he didn't really enjoy sitting in the backseat, we had brought his dog, Mater, along with us as well. I promise he had a good time too! Just pouting because he's in the backseat. We of course stopped at Buc-ee's on the way too!
While we were there we went to a Marshall Tucker concert on Sunday, but only stayed to see Dirty Grass Soul as it started pouring rain right before Marshall Tucker came out. I'm talking about a downpour, and the band tried waiting it out and ended up starting up by the time we had packed our stuff up and began walking back to the car. But that's okay! Off to his uncle's cabin we go, set in the woods twenty minutes away and sat by a fire and talk about life, and roast some hotdogs over the flames.
Monday we got lunch with his parents at a really good Mexican restaurant, and then went shopping! There was this really neat Nike Clearance store that is exactly what it says it is, lots of Nike stuff on clearance! A lot of it was marked down 50% or more. I never really got to have all the "cool" name brand stuff growing up, so I'm admittedly a sucker for finding the "cool" stuff for cheap. After that we made our way back to little Ada, Ohio. About halfway into our drive, Drew said he had this little spot on the side of the highway that had a really pretty lookout over the hills. He was hoping we could take some pictures up there if it was still going to be light out. We got lucky and got there right as the sun was setting, getting these very pretty pictures that I'll post below!

I'm glad you had a good Labor Day weekend! I love Buccee's but I haven't been there in so long, so I am jealous you were able to go this weekend! One of my friends from high school also has a dog named Mater! I think it's a cute name for a dog, and his dog is really cute! Sorry your concert got rained out, but I'm glad you still had fun!
