Ch1 Reaction

I just finished chapter 1, and I thought the Earned Media from section 6 was pretty interesting. It honestly just made me think of a TikTok video I just saw where this creator was in a slight panic because he came across a video of Barney, from Barney and friends. His panic and awe was because right above Barney’s username, was a little “From your contacts,” and he just could not figure out which one of his friends was the official Barney! This led to most viewers flocking to Barney’s account, which gained a lot of attention, views, and follows. I think this would be considered Earned Media. I'm sure there are better examples than that, but it was just the first thing that came to mind. I had no idea Barney had a TikTok until then!
